Description

XP-12 defoamer is a highly effective polyether-based powder defoamer designed to eliminate air entrapment in cement-basedand gypsum based mortars. The unique chemistry of XP-12defoamer combines the benefits of fast-acting defoaming withlong-lasting deairation at a molecular level. XP-12 defoamer helps to enable the fast escape of entrappedair while adding water and during mixing. The resulting cementitiouscompositions exhibit enhanced flow, excellent self-levelling, reduced air content and a smooth and defect-free hardenedsurface. XP-12 defoamer is universally applicable for use in both neutral and alkaline systems. It can be used with all other powder components or in association with cement, water reducer,emulsionand powder polymers, hydrocolloids, fibers and water repellents.

Recommend Dosage

XP-12 defoamer can be blended with the other solid ingredientsof the formulation in conventional powder mixers or post-added. Recommended dosage is 0.02 – 0.2 % of binder weight . Theactual dosage can be adjusted according to requirements for mortar surface state

Package and Storage

Packed in 25kg plastic woven bags with pe inner liner or 25kgcraft paper bags，stored in a cool place and protected frommoisture. Since the product is thermoplastic. It should not be subjectedtopressure of high temperatures during storage because of theriskof caking. Shelf time: Well packaged product has a shelf life to 12 monthssince manufacturing date.
